The individual websites for the sidebars dont apply a dark theme, just the sidebar. This is a recent issue and after I updated Opera, not sure who the issue belongs to. I have another one installed which goes by the (very cryptic) name of 'Dark Background and Light Text' which might be worth trying. Assuming that's not Dark Reader (the icon looks a lot like it), try Dark Reader. This extension can access your data on all websites.
